Community Poetry Workshop: " The Remembering"- Celebrating Local Lives and Legends

Free Poetry Workshop Led by Local Poet, Writer (and general creative genius) Clare Bryden!

As the nights draw in, we’re gathering stories, memories, and moments from our village, past and present, to create something truly special: a community poem about where we live.

No writing experience needed (or even a current love of poetry!) just curiosity, conversation and a love of where we live.

What to expect:

• Gentle, creative exercises led by the wonderful Clare Bryden, using sound, sight, and imagination to spark ideas.
• Time to wander between the Village Hall and Kilchrenan Kirkyard, noticing and remembering.
• A relaxed chance to capture your thoughts and help shape one shared poem that tells our collective story.

This poem will later be read by local voices and turned into a short film, to be shown at “The Remembering – A Samhain Night” on Saturday 1st November 2025".
